Contributing to the courtyard

Appreciation, questions and disagreement are welcome. Public display is optional. Story requests stay in the editorial inbox and are not automatically published.

When you give permission, your chosen name and exact words may be displayed after review. A photo is optional and needs separate permission. We review for spam, abuse, identifying details about other people, and relevance—not for whether you praise us. We will not turn critical feedback into a positive testimonial.

The proposed app gift

We are planning one month of the basic app as a thank-you for honest feedback. It will not depend on a positive opinion, a photo, or public display. One basic month per person is the proposed limit. It will not include paid AI usage, require a payment card, or automatically start a paid subscription.

The app and gift are not available yet. Selecting the box only records interest; it does not create an account or activate a membership. Launch timing and the final redemption process still need to be confirmed.

If a displayed reflection is connected to a gift or an offer of one, that relationship will be stated beside it.

What we store

Salt Media uses Cloudflare to host this website and store contributions. The form saves your words, chosen name, optional email, permission choices and optional photo in a private review queue. Your email is never included in the public courtyard. No membership is activated, no newsletter subscription is created, and nothing is published automatically.

You can omit your name, email and photo. If you provide an email, it may be used to reply to your contribution or, if you specifically select the App gift interest option, contact you about that proposal. These are separate from subscribing to future marketing emails.

Photos are resized in your browser before submission. Pending photos stay private. Before a photo can be approved for public display, it is decoded and re-encoded without embedded metadata during review. Only share a photo you have permission to use.

Keeping and removing contributions

Save the private receipt offered after submitting. You can use it on the manage your contribution page to permanently remove that contribution from our active records and public courtyard. Treat the receipt like a private link: someone with it can request deletion.

You can also email saltapp3@gmail.com to request a correction or removal. Please include the approximate date, chosen name and enough text to identify the contribution. We may ask for information to verify the request. Pending and rejected contributions older than 90 days are removed by a daily cleanup. Publicly approved reflections remain available until withdrawn or removed during moderation; removal from active records may precede expiry of provider backups. Any private review exports are removed separately during our moderation process.

We do not publish private contact information. Avoid including sensitive personal details or identifying another person without permission. If you email us directly, your message goes to our business inbox and is not automatically added to the public courtyard.

Publications and sources

Master Water, Pebble, Master Ease and Baggy are original fictional characters. Our stories are adaptations; they are not presented as verbatim ancient dialogue. The original source and the modern framing are identified on each story page. Our films use AI-generated voices.
